Imagine that for the next age, 3 new civilizations appear and each one is friend of 1 of the 3 previous civilizations and you can only pic the allied civilization for the next age unless you attack X times neighbors of your same civilization or spend a huge amount of FPoints to be able to pick on of the other 3 new civilizations ( let say civ 1 is allied of civ 4, civ 2, of civ 5 and civ 3 of civ 6 and if you pick civ 1, then you can only pick civ 4 unless you do something in order to be able to pick civ 5 or 6). Imagine that in order to investigate some technologies in the tech tree, you must attack neighbors who selected the other 2 civilizations or attack 1 of the other 2 and negotiate a huge number of goods with a player of the 3rd civilization. 1 and player B pic civ.2 and player A help to level up the GBuilding of player B, then the rewards for player A will be FPs, medals and blueprints of player A civilization). Imagine that before moving to the next age, you must select one of those 3 civilizations and each one with their unic buildings and 1 GBuilding and you can not get blueprints of the other 2 civilizations.

Imagine that in FoE, humanity finaly meet aliens, in this case, 2 or 3 types of diferent civilizations. One idea I have and it could bring us a positive change is 'alien civilizations'. In my case, im 95% sure that new ages will be the same as the previous ages, the first impressions for a new player should be 'ok, that is a lot, no, good bye game, uninstalled', it's essence is already lost and I think that a really well done change could bring this game a new life but the question is, what type of change? how can future ages be diferent enough to not make us feel that sense of 'copy paste' ? How possitive or negative would be do an importante change to the tech tree and how new ages are being created?

Is FoE losing or has already lost it's original essence ? Which are the first impressions of a new player when he/she sees the amount of ages FoE has and the FPoints required to investigate the whole tech tree ? I am the only one who feels that next ages won't bring anything new and amazing to us ? (copy paste of previous ages).
